In Q2 2024, the top five social apps in Ukraine demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Rезерв+, launched by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in mid-May, saw notable download numbers right from the start. Weekly downloads peaked at 802K in the week of May 20, before stabilizing around 173K by the end of June. Active users for Резерв+ also showed a strong initial surge, reaching 602K in the same week, then fluctuating and ending the quarter at approximately 419K.

TikTok maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $375K in late April and ending at roughly $337K in the last week of June. Downloads for TikTok hovered between 90K and 180K weekly, with active users consistently around the 7.4M mark, showcasing its sustained popularity.

Instagram showed steady engagement metrics. Revenue saw a slight increase, peaking at about $9.3K in mid-June. Weekly downloads ranged between 57K and 86K, with active users slightly declining from 5.9M to around 5.7M over the quarter.

Likee - Short Video Community experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching approximately $1.5K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated between 34K and 53K weekly, with active users peaking at 492K in mid-April and ending the quarter at around 440K.
